My first photo shoot with flowers was way back in 2000 when we did an outdoor shooting as a part of Denver Darkroom Outing (Flowers 1 -4).
I mainly used this as a forum to do some of my macro shots and tight close-ups. Little did I know that I would fall in love with flowers (after getting married)
while in Seattle and Vancouver (Canada). Seattle is great for viewing tulips (Photograph Spring Blossoms, Skagit Valley). The endless stretch of tulips into
the horizon is nothing but a feast to the eyes. Whether you view a tulip in a close-up or the stretches in a wide angle, you will get good results. One venue
needs a very special mention here - Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. I don't have any photographs of this location on my web site currently. However, I strongly
encourage everyone to visit this place to be amazed by the riot of colors round the year.
Currently, I am working on hand coloring some of my black and white still life shots - which I shall put up very shortly. Please visit this gallery again for more work.
